Memorial Day Weekend

I feel like i've been scrambling for alone time to sit and write my blog! Sometimes life can get a little crazy that's for sure. I am hoping to start writing a couple days a week but life has been nuts around here :)

Mason became SUPER sick on Tuesday. At first, I wasn't too freaked out because he's had the common cold before but this time it was different. He had a fever or 102, wouldn't eat for 4 days straight, and not fun diapers! I was so freaked out that I ended up taking him to the doctor three times this week. Apprently it's normal for toddlers to go that long without eating with this virus but how scary! luckily the fever started to pass on Friday and we were able to go out to eat as a little family. I was hoping some restaurant french fries would fatten him up a bit :)

On Saturday I let Mason sleep a lot and catch up on rest. Brandon and I were able to work on his room a little more and get some things done around the house. Sunday Morning we ended up going to Lake Orion to my cousin Brandon's house to enjoy a day on the lake. He definitely has the ultimate bachelor pad there! The boat was a lot of fun and Mason enjoyed looking at all the boats and people having a good time.

Today we decided to stay home and go to the Hartland parade. I was picturing this small, maybe 5 floats or so show but nope! It lasted an hour and was probably the cutest parade I've ever seen. I love living in a community that is so tight where everyone knows each other! Lots of small businesses do amazing here and it's so nice to see :)

I promise I will start writing more! I have been a little preoccupied with some things which I will share with you very soon!!! :) Hope everyone had an AMAZING holiday weekend!

This was mason the second day he was sick! :( So incredibly heart breaking. You can see how uncomfortable he was :(
Progress with Mace Faces room! Should have a finished product next weekend

My favorite pictures are usually the ones where they had no idea I was shooting them ;)
