Family time

Today was such a fun day at the Sev household! We had my sister and her family here, Tom, Peyton and my cousin Brandon over for a yummy dinner. I made ham, mashed potatoes, corn, and some delicious rolls. The boys played whiffle ball out front while Mandi and I chatted and played with the boys.

Brandon and I were excited to finally make use out of his new table he made. We also finished the wainscoting in the dining room. My back is killing me from painting and caulking it the last couple weeks but the work was definitely worth it. It looks nice and we are looking forward to trying it around our stairs here soon.

Brandon is taking the week off to spend time with Mace and work on his bedroom. Poor kids room is falling a part! Out of all the rooms in the house it's the one that probably requires the most work. The fun part is we get to make it how we want! I think he will love it when we're finished. 

We will be heading to Cheboygan this weekend to spend some time with Brandon's mom. We haven't been up north in awhile so we're excited to visit! We finally don't have to brave the snow storms when driving up there.
