Brandon's grandma and sister visited over the weekend and they had fun spending time with Mace man. He was so excited to have them here he struggled to even fall asleep! Brandon and I had an opportunity to head out on a date while Mason spent time with the girls. We went to a fun restaurant called Black Rock Grill where they serve a stone heated up to 700 degrees and a piece of uncooked steak. Sounds gross right? You actually slice and cook the food on the rock yourself. It was fun but as Brandon would say a little "stressful" ha. After dinner we played some keno and had some good conversation and cocktails :)
Mason had allergy testing done today at U of M. We had testing done in September and found out he was allergic to soy, eggs, and dogs. This time around was very bizarre. His test showed today that the Soy allergy had decreased in intensity but he has now developed an allergy with peanuts. It breaks my heart to know he's allergic to one of the most common toddler foods :( (The PBJ of course). He had blood drawn today so we will find out how intense the peanut allergy and egg allergy are. There is a chance we may be able to introduce some cooked egg foods soon as long as he has low levels. I'm crossing my fingers!
We are also starting speech therapy for little man in 2 weeks. He tested SUPER high in comprehension and on the low/average side with verbal. I really feel like he will do really well with the extra help. It can be so hard seeing the frustration in his little face when he wants something but just can't tell me. I am hoping this helps :)
Here are a few pictures from the weekend. I need to take a picture of our backyard soon! We have ducks pairing up, geese, musk rats, sand cranes, herons. I always think of bambi this time of year "twitterpating?" Lots of crazy noises and fighting going on back there this week. Can't wait for all the babies to arrive soon :)
Hope you all have a great week! xoxo
