22 weeks!

Today's date: Saturday March 17th..Happy St. Pattys day!
How far along: 22 weeks yesterday!
Sex: boy :)

Sleep: I haven't been sleeping too well this week. I'm on spring break and was hoping to sleep in until at least 8! For some reason I wake up at 5:00am ready to go each morning. I think my work schedule is engraved in my head!
Best moment(s) of the week:  Having Bran's grandparents visiting and another fun trip to ikea! Cleaning and making owls again was also nice...I miss my crafting!

Movement: He's super active and it's easy to see and feel his movements from the outside now. Bran felt him last night and we could actually see him shifting from the left side of my stomach to the right...not going to lie it was a little creepy but amazing at the same time :)

Morning sickness: bye bye morning sickness

Labor signs: Way too soon. Sometimes my tummy will tighten to practice for the real deal though!

Belly button in or out:
it looks like a shallow swimming pool...ha!
Food cravings/aversions: lately not so much! Chocolate milk was a weird craving yesterday...seems like I am craving alot of calcium!

Symptoms: I think I may have a little bit of insomnia! I'm only getting 5-6 hours of sleep a night. Between the baby kicking me and not finding a comfortable position that has been kind of rough. I'm also noticing another spurt of weight gain!
What I miss:  painting things, green beer on St. Pattys day, and my family :)

Here are a few pics from the weekend!

Playing some corn hole with wally

I love seeing Bran so happy with his grandpa :)

Rocco plays corn hole by stealing the bags off the board and bringing them to his mom :)

Desert life :)

Feeling large and in charge lately...new maternity gauchos! :)
Soon to come: pictures of our new couches in the family room :) and baby room painting in two weeks!

At 11 inches and almost 1 pound, your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. His lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and he's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums. His eyes have formed, but his irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers his body and the deep wrinkles on his skin, which he'll sport until she adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside his belly, his pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily.
