I hope everyone had a nice and relaxing weekend! I spent about half of mine napping and cleaning up the house...boo! I have been sooooo tired the last week that I'm surprised I have enough energy to write this blog! I have been coming home from teaching everyday and heading straight to my bed for a nap. I feel very crabby and tired most of the day and wish I had a "desk job" for weeks like this...then at least I would be able to sit for a chance. I think next time I get preggo I will plan it out better so I can not be teaching during the sick months...it's not fun! I feel like Christmas is already here because Brandon and I have been receiving some fun packages in the mail. My mom definitely has the grandma spirit and has sent us some wonderful baby items already...I'm excited for her to be a grandma :) Here are some pics of the things she sent this week:
I can't wait for baby Sev and I to cuddle in this chair :0)
Baby Sev's first Thanksgiving outfit!
My mom knows that I love owls...hopefully baby Sev does too!
In other news, we got to see the baby on the monitor last Tuesday on Brandon's birthday! I wasn't sure how I was going to react but I just shrieked...OH my gosh it's Squid! The lady looked a little confused but I was so excited to see his/her little heat beating on the monitor. We have another appt. next week to get a better idea of my due date. Right now it looks like I'll be due on either July 22nd or 23rd. I'm still having a weird feeling it's a boy....not sure though! Have a great week everyone!
7 Weeks Pregnant
At seven weeks, you’re probably gearing up for your first prenatal visit with your OB, and you’re probably dying to know what to expect. Brace yourself to give a variety of samples (blood, urine and cervical cells -- yeesh!), get an ultrasound test that will confirm baby’s doing okay in there and get an estimated due date (yep, you might already have one, but the doc may adjust it a bit based on what she sees). It probably seems weird to go about your day knowing you’re pregnant, when no one else can see it. Not to mention, wondering what it will be like when everyone else can see it. Caught yourself staring at your tummy in the mirror -- and even pushing it out to fake a baby bump, just to get a preview? Yeah, we did that too during week seven.
Baby Sev and Charlotte have a good chance of sharing a birthday! How fun!!
ReplyDeleteHope you start feeling better soon. Try sucking on some lemon drops!!
