I'm Pregnant!

First off, holy crap! This month has been a roller coaster and the last surprise I thought I would have at the end of the month was the news of a baby. Earlier this month, I was dealing with surgeries, hospital visits, strong pain meds, and terrible pain! Luckily, the surgery of removing my stone gave me instant relief and allowed me to get back to normal...obviously..lol :) So here is what prompted me thinking I was preggo.....

I feel like I am pretty good at reading my body and I noticed while teaching the little ones that I was having dizziness, terrible back aches, and slight nausea and fatigue! I came home and attributed them to being close to starting my period. While watching TV, I felt my stomache cramping more and more but it was a feeling I had never felt before. After talking with a good friend who was preggo, she inspired me to go get a test and see if what I was experiencing was pregnancy. I came home, took the test, and waited patiently. At first, I saw one line and was about to throw it away then a minute later saw a faint pink second line. I was honestly in disbelief! After freaking out with Brandon I decided to take one the next morning and it was definitely two VERY pink lines...4 different PREGNANT tests later I was finally out of denial and excited about the idea of being a mom in the next 9 months!

I have a doctor appt. set up in mid December to make sure all is going well. I am so excited to see pictures and hear the heartbeat!! Another weird thing, the night before taking a test, I had a dream I was pregnant with a boy....kinda weird? We'll have to see!

your baby's the size of a poppyseed!
At 4 weeks, your baby, now known as a blastocyst, is practically microscopic -- a teeny ball of cells. She's busy settling into her new home (your uterus), prepping for all the crucial development she'll be doing over the next six weeks.
